How to buy REAL Louboutin's for seven dollars?!!

There are a few items every girl should own. A lot of times I find myself impulse buying things that are "cute" or just because they stood out to me.  These things get worn once or twice and then I never have anything to wear them with. So when you are shopping do a little bit of math: Here is how it works:
If you buy a pair of green polka dotted shoes that cost $60,

You may only wear them three times a year because they standout so much you won't want to wear them as often. Thier CWY (cost per wear in a year) is twenty dollars. So it is like renting them three different times for twenty dollars.

But if you were to purchase a coveted pair of black Christian Louboutin's for $695, like these

Because they are black and would match with most outfits. If you wore them twice a week for one year the CWY would only be $6.78!! Not only is that a good deal, but it is a great way to justify a new pair of louboutin's once a year!

Look Like Marilyn for Less Than $80.00

She was famous for the glam, the movies, her curvacious figure, but most of all she is remembered for her sultry red lips and bright blonde hair. Maryilyn was one of the greatest sex icons of all time. No matter what decade it may be, woman will marvel at her classic beauty. Today I am writing about how you can have that look for under $80. The products I am showing in this blog are my favorites! I think they are the best bang for your buck! So ladies, try them out and let me know how they work for you!

1. Marilyn's Perfect Skin
Marilyns skin always had a perfect radiant glow. Start with a base moisturizer. Make sure your skin is squeeky clean before applying. I would recommend Bare Minerals Primer it has a ton of vitamins, SPF, and can help keep your skin looking clear and flawless.

Foundation and concealer:
Foundation and concealer are optional if your skin doesn't have too many blemishes foundation may only make it worse. If your skin is like mine you may need a bit more coverage. I have used Clinique, Revlon, Cover Girl, Estee Lauder, Mary Kay, Avon, just about every type of foundation you can find. I have sensative skin and all these brands actually make my face worse. Bare Minerals is by far the best brand that I have tested, however M.A.C also makes good facial products. The Bare Mineral products are all made of talc like ingredients that are natural and won't clog your pores. The finest grains of make-up you can imagine are blended together to make the best coverage, with a very light feel!

"If you're gonna be two-faced at least make one of them pretty." — Marilyn Monroe

2.Making Her Blush
Translucent powder-Light dusting of powder is good to set makeup base and concealer. Marilyn's makeup artist "Whitey Snyder " used a color that was a bit darker than her skin color to give her a natural face lift. He applied the powder from her temple to her cheek bones and feathered her nose with the same color giving a slimming effect to her face structure.

"Well behaved women rarely make history." — Marilyn Monroe

3. Raising Eyebrows

Use a light brown eyebrow pencil, making small feathered strokes. Blend in with eyebrow brush. Continue line to elongate brow. You will notice a big difference in you facial appearance when you shape your eyebrows. For most people it is not possible to have even looking eyebrows by simply waxing or plucking only. Ever girl has a different shaped face, so the eyebrow shape that worked for marilyn may not work for you. As you can see Marilyn had a very high arch, it may be more realistic for some of you to follow your own eyebrow shape. Especially if your eyeshape differs from Marilyn's.

"Sex is part of nature. I go along with nature."
— Marilyn Monroe

4. The Secret Eye Trick You Were Waiting For

Eyeliner 1. Whitey Snyder, possibly one of the most amazing makeup artists, always lined the inside of Marilyn's eye with a Kohl pencil this is a trick still used by movie and stage makeup artists to make the eye appear larger and more open. Draw the line of white from the corner of the eye for about ¼inch (½cm), angling mildly upwards.

Eyeliner 2. Contrary to popular belief, Marilyn's eyeliner was rarely black. Most often, it was blue or dark brown. You can do this with liquid or pencil, but a cake with brush (made wet) is the best option. Do a very narrow line right at lashline top and bottom, and continue out. The two lines must not meet, so your white line doesn't disappear and your eyes look smaller. 4.00

Eyeliner 3. Above the thin line of brown on the upper lid,
Marilyn always had an even thinner line of gold liner. Make sure to make the thinnest of lines or it will look obvious and tacky, instead of glamorous.
Eyelashes: For falsies Marilyn always used strips, never individual lashes. Apply a small circle of eye glue to the back of your hand. Using a toothpick dip the tip in the glue. Carefully apply the glue to the rim of the lash. Becareful not to angle the lashes too low or too high! ( A liquid liner will cover any areas that seem rigid) Get them from Sally's or any local Beauty Boutique for under $5.

Eyelashes For Everyday: Falsies are a great when you are going out or for a special occasion, but wearing them everyday might be a little harsh on your real lashes and skin. My Favorite mascara of all time is CoverGirl Lashblast. It makes your lashes so lucious and thick, without clumping and you can purchase it from your local drugstore or even walmart!

Red Dot: Using a lipstick brush or a lip liner pencil place a tiny bright red dot in the corner of the eye. It will open the eye making it look brighter!
Eyeshadow: Marilyn's eyeshadow was very subtle. Whitey Snyder applied some light brown shadow to the crease of Marilyn's eyelid, and to the outer area below brow. He then added a shiny off-white to the center of the lid, brow bone, above the brow, and in the corner of the eye.

5. Red Lips: Start by moisturizing the lips using a lip balm. This will help your lips from looking cracked or dry.Apply a foundation or translucent powder on your upper and lower lip to give them a good foundation for the next steps. This will lock in your look making it last longer. Line the lips with a skin-colored or red lip liner and use a lip brush to fill the lips in with a bright cherry red lipstick. Put a dot of clear lip gloss onto the center of the bottom lip to make the lips appear fuller and more like Marilyn Monroe's.
